17 months old!
Olivia has become quite the talker lately! She always has something to say but usually we can't quite understand what it is she is trying to verbalize. It's pretty funny to hear her go on and on about something. Here is a list of all the words she knows thus far, at least all the words we can understand:
- Mama or Mommy
- Dada or Daddy
- Please
- Pooh
- BoBo (means dog, it's Lori's dog's name so all dogs are BoBo, even poor Cassidy)
- Delilah (sounds like DA-lilah)
- Ball
- Shoe
- Wow!
- Baby and Babies
- I love you (sounds like A-Looo)
- Cheese
- Thank you (sounds like tank-oo)
- Eye
- Juice
- More (sounds like mo)
- Uh-oh!
- Mmmm (means it's good!)
- Yes (she shakes her head for no, but hasn't really said it yet)
- Beep Beep (which means excuse me)
- Noodle
- She sings "Ring Around the Rosie"
She's also finally 20 pounds! We're so excited! She has another round of shots coming up in a few weeks so I'll see if she has gained any weight by then. She eats like crazy but runs around even more. Her favorite activies are playing with her puzzles, reading, playing cars, chasing the dog and cat, sliding, climbing, swimming and dancing. Once anything with a good beat starts up on the stereo, you can't keep this child still! It's so funny to see her hands waving around from the back seat and her head bopping to the beat. She loves music and tries to play the piano with Aaron. She went to her first concert over the weekend, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. They are a Vermont band and it was an outdoor concert in Massachusetts. She danced the evening away and had a blast entertaining everyone around her!
She's been pretty busy lately with playdates and getting ready to head to Boston to meet up with Aaron's mom (Nana). She met some friends at the Montshire Museum on Tuesday and also visited a new baby!
