More Christmas

Santa Humphrey was a little too good to me this year - a new camera! I'm wondering when everyone is going to get sick of me taking so many pictures...Opening round three (or was it four?) Spoiled much? Yes, I think so.
Just a sweet little face.
Another sweet little one.
A kiss for Uncle Jason.

Christmas Eve and Morning, 2009

Merry Christmas everyone!
The kids had a fabulous Christmas this year, and we hope you did as well! They were spoiled, of course, but they also were good about giving. Olivia and Aiden made ornaments for everyone and helped shop for presents with us. They had a good time picking out presents for people and we made a point to donate both food and toys so they understand the true meaning of Christmas is giving and thinking of others. Helping wrap presents was a highlight for Olivia this year, and she asked Santa for some tape! He delivered (how could he not?!) so she was a happy little girl!
Getting ready to go to Aunt Karen's house for Christmas eve. It's rather difficult to get a decent picture of all three kids at once!

Even getting a good one of the girls isn't easy!
Christmas morning - Aiden is in awe, while Olivia just rips right in!
Taking some time out to read Rudolph.
At Grandma and Pa's in the afternoon - this is one of Aiden's favorite gifts. He just needs the snow to melt outside so he can ride it in the driveway! Although, it is fun to ride it around downstairs too...

Nutcrakcer Ballet

I took Olivia to the Nutcracker Ballet and we had an absolutely wonderful time! She was such a good girl and was in awe of it all! (A little squirmy in her chair, but that was to be expected!) She kept gasping at the dancers and leaning into me to whisper, "I know this song, Mommy!" She held my hand through most of it. At intermission, I got her a nutcracker and once the second act started, she whispered in my ear, "I hope he turns into a prince tonight!" It was magical and I will remember it for the rest of my life. I love my Olivia!

Going to find our seats (they were perfect)!
Walking down the stairs during intermission.
All dressed up!
She liked all the lights.
After the show, many of the characters came out for a greet and meet and photos!
Olivia didn't want to pose with the mice, but she liked the angels! The one to her left was SO cute and talked faster than any child I have ever heard! She was adorable.
Clara! She was oh so sweet!
One of the flowers. All the dancers were so nice to Olivia!
Our favorite dancers were the Arabians. This is one of the blue ones, but we really loved the dancers in gold (they didn't come out for the meet and greet). The gold Arabian female was AMAZING! Olivia can't stop talking about her. I didn't know it was humanly possible for someone to bend the way she did. She was just incredible.

O's show

Olivia had her first school Holiday Show! She was so cute and quite enthusiastic, to say the least. They did an alphabet song, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and Feliz Navidad. They each got to introduce a letter and her letter was D ("I have D, D says duh.") Pa joined us and we even got lunch! Aiden enjoyed the show, but I think he liked the cupcake at the end more than anything.Olivia and her friend, Carley
O and Miss Ester, her teacher
O and Mr. Steve (her favorite!)
There she is!!! Singing away!

This is more like it!

Snow?

We got a light dusting and the kids just couldn't resist! There was more mud than snow, but at least they got outside and played!

Santa Parade

Waving to Santa!
The firetrucks are a big hit with Aiden!
Why am I the only one looking at the camera?O doesn't like how loud the sirens are!
Absolutely amazed that she left the hat on long enough for a picture...

Playing catch-up on pictures...

Haven't posted in awhile, so I'm trying to play catch-up!!!

Hockey games, shopping with Karen (a.k.a. Nana), lots of birthday celebrations (Bailey is ONE now *sigh*), and enjoying the last of the nice weather before winter arrives! Enjoy the pictures, sorry it's been so long..
