Snow Fun and First Tea Party

Olivia had a great weekend! We went to Keene, NH for lunch and some shopping, and spent some time outside sledding and playing in the snow - Olivia learned how to throw her first snowball (at Daddy)! Once inside and warmed up a bit, Olivia decided to throw her first ever tea party! She set it all up by herself with her snacks and some lovies. We have no idea where she got the idea from, but it certainly was cute.

Valentine's Day Snow!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Look at all our snow! It snowed and snowed and snowed...
I guess I got what I asked for! All the schools are closed, Aaron was even sent
home early from work yesterday, and the plows are really working overtime. Olivia and I had a great day decorating cookies, playing outside,
blowing up balloons, and seeing Daddy in the middle of the day.
He brought home tons of flowers for Mommy and a special
balloon for Olivia. She walked around the house saying,
"Ohhh, heart balloon. Thank you Daddy!" It was very cute.

Where's all the snow?

It's cold outside. We have to bundle up just to go to the mailbox. We have to start the car 10 minutes before we leave so it's nice and warm when we get in it. The dog goes out and comes back inside in record time. We know it's winter, but WHERE'S ALL THE SNOW?! They keep promising snow, but it's a no-show every time. The ground is barely white and we really want to get outside, go sledding, build a snowman and go snow-shoeing while Mommy still has energy left! They say it's supposed to come Tuesday night around midnight for a Valentine's Snow, but I'm not convinced. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see what comes in the night.

We've been pretty busy in the Humphrey household - busy being sick! Olivia was not a happy girl last week and it was our first official SICKNESS. Olivia was just miserable for about 7 days. She's feeling better but still not back to our busy, bossy, happy little girl! I took some pictures right before she got sick and then a few while she was feeling under the weather. Nothing too interesting, but here they are, for your viewing pleasure:
