New pets

So this is what happens when we let our children watch television:We rented "The Tale of Desperaux" and Olivia is now in love with mice. O and A both had some leftover birthday money so we let them get what they wanted! What they wanted --- more pets! Because the option of another big furry pet is out, as well as the space for a horse (you hear that, P-Paw, no horses!), we decided that the small, relatively easy to care for choice of mice would be fine.
Olivia and Aiden are now the proud owners of Desperaux, the brave yet small mouse, and her (yes, HER) sister Perdita, the dalmatian-looking mouse. Desperaux, like her name sake, is quite clever and extremely brave, whilst Perdita, like her owner, is naughty, jumps out of your hands, and escapes every chance she gets. Guess which mouse is Aiden's!!!

Honkin' Trucks

I brought the kids to Honkin' Trucks Day at a school near us to climb on and in some pretty cool trucks they see around town all the time. They were able to sit in a variety of vehicles like police cars, fire engines, school buses, and cement mixers, just to name a few. They had a great time honking the horns, trying on some big people gear and talking to the drivers. It was lots of fun!

Olivia pictures

Our baby girl is getting so big! She's four now, and about to enter the kindergarten-readiness program at her preschool! She's an amazing little girl and is just so much fun to be around. She's such a great big sister too! We're so lucky!

Aiden pictures

Our little man is two now, and getting bigger every day! He's talking a lot more now, although it's still difficult to understand ALL that he is saying! He sure does have a lot to say, though! He's always on the move but still loves to cuddle (especially in the morning and while Daddy's trying to eat!) Still very much into cars, trucks, construction equipment and NOISE! We love our little man and can't wait to see who he will turn out to be!

His big boy bed!!!

Bailey pictures

A few updated pictures of baby Bailey. She's growing like crazy these days and is rolling all over the floor! She just can't hold still. We're working on sitting up but she just flops over and touches her nose to the floor. No giggles yet either! She's so close though! She is such a good baby, but still isn't sleeping through the night. We're hoping that comes soon!
