Is Summer Here Yet?!

The weather just keeps messing with us - one day warm enough for playing outside all day, the next, SNOW. We're getting a little sick of this yo-yo weather...










































Miss Bailey is so funny outside these days! She wouldn't walk on the grass for about a day, but now she has no fear. She loves to run around and chase the other kids or the dog. She's so happy outside, it's great!

Aaron is almost finished putting in the door from the tv/play room into the bathroom downstairs! He just needs to finish putting up the trim and then I need to paint it all. It's great to have another door into that bathroom and makes Olivia feel less like Queen of the basement with her own bathroom!!! I think I'll paint the bathroom next...

Aiden's Sports Class

Aiden is taking a Sports Sampler class the YMCA. Every week he gets to try out a new sport. So far he has played soccer and football, and he has basketball tomorrow. He likes soccer better than football! He will also sample t-ball, golf (putting), tennis, and tumbling. He likes to play with the other boys in his class and does a pretty good job listening to his coach!

Olivia Gets Her Ears Pierced!

Our big 5-year-old got her got her ears pierced today! We dropped off the babies (as Olivia calls them) and had a Mommy/Daddy Day with just our little sweetheart. Off to the mall to get her ears pierced! She was so brave. There was only ONE person working, so we weren't able to get both ears done at the same time. We were quite nervous that she wouldn't want the second one done, but she persevered and now has pretty pink flowers adorning her cute little lobes.

Olivia turns 5!

Olivia Ann is 5 today! There are mixed emotions in the house, but not where Olivia is concerned! She's so excited to be 5. The day is filled with Olivia Activities, rounding out the evening with a visit to her Birthday Buddy's house for pie and cupcakes (can't believe Skyler is 11!) and a special night staying up late and watching a movie without any siblings (big deal to a 5 year old). Tomorrow is a big day for Olivia as well - ear piercing and a day with just Mommy and Daddy.
