Last of September

The last of September has been a beautiful but chilly day - the perfect weather for a Vermont hike! We headed to Grafton and enjoyed a day of hiking, sampling Vermont cheese and a lovely lunch outside. Olivia was all tuckered out, even if Daddy did do most of the work! Here are a few pictures from our hike today.
Tomorrow is October, and the forecast says rain all day. Oh well, we had a beautiful Saturday!

Playing around on the big "hay marshmallows"!
Olivia thought these were great.

Feeding Her Babies

Olivia's new favorite thing to do is feed her babies! I bought two pretend baby bottles for her and now that's all she wants to do! She holds them in her arms and hums to them, then kisses them when they are "all done", and sometimes she even tries to burp them! She has two babies and she likes to take turns changing their clothes and feeding them either the milk bottle or the juice bottle. It's so cute!

Quick Update

Well our little bug is growing up, just not out at all. She's barely 20 pounds, but getting long. No shots this time, so no ice cream, but flu shots next month for all, so that means ice cream for all!

It certainly looks like Autumn out there with all the leaves changing and falling to the ground. Olivia thinks it's just brilliant how they fall down just for her pleasure. She likes to chase them if it's windy enough. We're not seeing very many reds yet, but my fingers are crossed - red leaves are my favorite.

Goofing around before bedtime.

What?

Hanging out with Hailee on a warm Autumn day.
Hailee is only 10 months old and wears the same size clothes as O and
weighs as much

Running around outside with a silly little grin!

Apple Picking, Fairs and More

Our little Hippie Baby at the Kids' Fair.
(Check out her forehead - this kid has no fear!)

We've been so busy lately trying to enjoy the beginning of Fall and the end of those long, warm summer days. We went to the Vermont State Fair and Olivia had fun dancing and people-watching. She didn't like the pig races (yup, you read that right, pig races) but she did like the french fries, as long as they had enough ketchup on them.
This weekend we went to the Brattelboro, Vermont Kids' Fair and Olivia danced to the drums and got to sit in a fire truck. Today we went apple picking and Olivia had fun picking the lowest apples off the trees. It was hot out though and Olivia wasn't too happy about being there.
Here are some pictures of what we've been up to!
Sitting on the Fire Engine. She wouldn't look at the camera,
but really, who could blame her - too many shiny things to look at!

Dancing at the Vermont State Fair.
We didn't get too many pictures of the State Fair...
Taste testing apples with Mommy.

Hi Daddy!

September is here!

The leaves are already changing, school is in session, and Olivia is 18 months old! She has her doctor's appointment next week and Mommy's going to brave the shots all alone. Not much fun for Mommy, even less for Olivia. Olivia cries harder but Mommy cries longer. We will get ice cream when it's over. Cookie dough for Mommy, plain vanilla for Olivia. We will deserve it.
I haven't updated in awhile, sorry. We've been so busy and honestly haven't taken many pictures! It's been a video camera era lately...
Here are a few pictures to please you all, I hope!
Just playing around the backyard.
It finally stopped raining!

Check out my wheels!
I'm on safari (with a drink, my pillow, my teddy, some snacks...)

Hey there Sunshine!
Playing at the park.
A dandelion is fun, as long as the bees aren't around!
