Fallasburg Festival with Grandma and Pa

Fall is on the way in Michigan! It comes a lot earlier here than it does in New England, so we were a bit surprised to see the leaves changing already. Olivia's pretty excited because we told her that the baby would come after all the leaves have changed and fallen to the ground. We also got her Halloween costume, so just about every day she wants to try it on. October is tomorrow already - our favorite month! We haven't been up to much lately, just enjoying the last of summer, hanging out with Michigan family and missing Daddy so very much! His Traverse City project should wrap up at the end of this week (we hope).

Last weekend Olivia and I went to Ethan's soccer game while Daddy and Aiden stayed home and finished up putting in the backyard grass (yippee). Ethan scored a goal (yippee again)! Olivia can't wait to start soccer.

We went to the Fallasburg Festival last weekend with Grandma and Pa. Here are a couple of pictures of our day there:

Since Olivia has officially graduated to the next level in gymnastics, here are a couple of pictures of her "mad skills" (as she calls them):

We made the news!

We were visiting Aaron in Traverse City last week and went to the Children's Museum there on Friday while Daddy was a work. There was a news crew there and they interviewed me and got the kids on tape as well! Here's a link to the site:

You have to click on the "Play Video" at the top or "Watch Video" by the picture to view the video. Too funny!

Traverse City

Well Aaron has been up in Traverse City now for three weeks! It looks like he has about three more to go...
We miss him so much that we decided to go up and visit him while he was there! We were very busy while he was at work during the day and had nice, relaxing evenings with him when he was off! We spent most of our time at the beach, the Children's Museum, shopping and eating out! We like Traverse City and want to go visit him again soon!

Olivia Goes to School...

Olivia had her first day of preschool today! She was very excited to go and kept asking all morning when it was time to start. She did quite well while she was there, and her teacher told me that she only cried once for me. She had fun and told me that her favorite part was reading books and playing outside!

Some pictures before we left for school:
A couple of pictures at school:
I think she's saying, "Enough already, Mom!"
We celebrated her first day of preschool with a picnic by the river:

Blueberry Fun!

We had a great weekend in Indiana at the Blueberry Festival! We got to see Nana, P-Paw, Aunt Sue and Uncle Tom, Olivia got to ride LOTS of rides (Mommy didn't like this as much as Daddy did), ate lots of festival food, saw fireworks, a parade, and Aiden even got to ride his very first no-mommy-or-daddy ride! We're all quite tired from it all...
Here are a few of our favorite pictures:
Daddy and Aiden cooling off inside
Some rides at the Festival
Waving to everyone! Look, no adults!
Trying to get a picture with Aunt Sue and Uncle Tom
Playing outside with P-Paw and DaddyAt the parade (it was really hot outside!)
