ArtPrize 2009

Grand Rapids is host to the (first annual) ArtPrize contest! We went downtown on Sunday to check out some entries and see "100,000 Paper Planes and Melodies Over Monroe" by Rob Bliss. Here are some pictures of what we've seen thus far (only 75 of the 1,262 entries!):

This one is a favorite, especially of Aiden. He spent about 5 minutes in silence, just walking along, touching it. It's on the side of the Children's Museum, and he just couldn't stop touching it.

(it matches her outfit, of course, a baby must accessorize when she's on the town)

Aiden and Olivia really liked this one!
