Happy 18 months Aiden!

Aiden is 18 months old now! He had his doctor's appointment yesterday and endured three shots like a man! We can't believe how big he is getting and we're certain that he will look HUGE once the baby is born! He is now 33 1/4 inches tall and weighs 24 pounds. He's talking a little more these days, but pointing and saying "Wow!" or "Look!" still takes precedence over just about any other word. His favorite things are Thomas, cars and trucks, terrorizing the cat and dog, playing outside, climbing anything that will hold still, and eating. He knows quite a few body parts and actually listens to directions now, unless we're telling him to leave the dog alone. He (usually) plays nicely with Olivia now as they have become quite the pair these days! We also discovered that he LOVES eating apples like a big boy and head banging to music is the way to dance when you're 1 1/2! He's sleeping through the night now (thank goodness) and loves his crib. We're not sure how we'll transition him to his big boy bed, but it's set up in his room and all his lovies are on it. Once the baby is born and we move the kids around, Aiden will have the blue/green room and Olivia will be moved downstairs to the freshly painted purple room with her own bathroom! (She's pretty excited about this, we're not so sure...) Big changes are around the corner for us all as the leaves fall and colder weather greets us when we open the door. In the meantime, we're excited for Halloween and will post pictures of our little animals when the time comes!
