This and That

Just a few things I've been meaning to add to the blog...

Olivia's Big Girl Bed
She's been sleeping in it for months, but I've neglected to put a picture on the blog for those who have yet to see it in person! Now that I look at the picture, it's not really a good one, but it will do for now. She usually has about 15 Lovies on it and it's rarely made, but every so often we go through the process of making it together. Somehow, with all the things to do in the day, making the bed just doesn't seem that important to me.

Olivia's Second Best Friend, Delilah

Grandma Sunflowers have bloomed!

Aiden is getting so big. He's almost sitting up by himself and is in size 3 diapers! (Olivia was only in size 4s for about two months before she was potty trained!) He just started sleeping in his crib (I cried) and is really playing with toys now. He sits in the saucer for a bit each day now, too! Time flies when they are this age.
When we went to meet Aaron's mom, Karen, in Boston, her flight was delayed for about 4 hours. We passed the time at a zoo we found in Massachusetts. Olivia just loves looking at animals! It wasn't a very good zoo - no giraffes, elephants, or even zebras - but it was a nice way to spend the morning waiting for a delayed airplane to land!
Olivia, Aiden and Mommy went on a picnic in Thetford this week! We went back to Mud Pond Road, where Aaron and I first lived in Vermont before buying our house. We brought Cassidy to the pond and she went right in! Olivia thought it was hilarious. Aiden loves being outside and watched us run from Cassidy as she tried to shake off the water on us. We had a good time learning that wood floats, rocks sink, and Cassidy doesn't smell good when she's wet. We even went up to our old house but there was a car in the driveway so we took a quick glance and drove back down the steep driveway. I can still picture Aaron's Jeep stuck at the bottom in the snow and hear him swearing under his breath as he climbed up to our house. Such good memories, such good memories...
