Michigan Fun, July 2006

Olivia and Mommy just got back from a very busy and hot visit to Michigan! Olivia did very well on the plane rides, as usual. She had lots of fun going to two zoos, the beach, reading books with Uncle Chirs, shopping, meeting Tasha's boys, visiting Frederik Meijer Gardens (where Mommy and Daddy got married), running around at Aunt Kiley's house, and playing at the park with her cousins (except Josh, who is Josh?)! She learned some new tricks from her cousins (knuckles) and now says "thank you" just about all the time. I'd have to say that her favorite adventure was at Lake Michigan where she "swam" in the 74 degree water and splashed in the waves. She stayed up way past her bedtime on more than one evening and had a wonderful time with the Phillips side of her family tree. We're back home to swim lessons, play group, the rain and cooler temperatures. We had a great time and can't wait to see everyone again.
Here are a few pictures of our time in Michigan.

Petting a Wallaby at the zoo! She also got to touch

a turkey, a donkey, a sting ray and a giraffe! She was quite brave!

Playing in the play area at the mall was silly! Giant food on the floor - what fun!
